Hi there! I'm Hilary and i have a sweet 3 week old quaker named Rowan(who really LOVES to eat) Rowan is growing so fast! I'm hoping to find other handfeeders or someone who knows about what we should be weighing as the weeks go on. We love food but I'm a worrier and its my first time hand feeding, but it's going amazing!

Happy to have you and Rowan join us on the Forum. It sounds like things are going well for you. Hand feeding is outside my area of expertise so I don't really have any useful suggestions for you.

Welcome to the forum, Casey came to us around 17 weeks and was fully grown. Quaker parrots vary a lot in weight Casey is just over 90 grams but most are much bigger. To weigh him I tare a coffee cup on a kitchen scale and stand him on the edge of the cup

Welcome, Rowan!
My youngest Quaker was 8 wks and weaned. So I can’t offer first person advice though I may have read something helpful.
I live with Willow, 10 yrs old blue Quaker.
