Hey, arrived this afternoon! I am so surprised at how chatty and confident he already is! Opened his cage and he was straight on top of it. Within half hour he was flying around talking, and even coming to sit with me & my OH. Chuck taught ME step up ahaha While on my knee he nudged my hand and kept saying "step up". Got it down now lol He seem's so happy and settled already, I am so pleased! He has said a few things since he has been here.. Hello, step up, good boy, what you doing?, thank you, shut up, f*ck off & f*ck you ! :/ He laughs too! He is on the harrisons diet, which is what he would have eventually been fed if he was being fed something different so that is a plus Will give a full proper update soon!! Here are a couple of photo's

What a sweet looking little guy Chuck is! He definitely seems very comfortable already in these photos. Glad things are going so well so far!
These photos should work pretty well for getting him on the banner as we discussed. Should be able to do that in the next few days.

That is so wonderful and what a beautiful bird he is. Thank you sharing the photos and I look forward to hearing more updates. Isn't it great that they talk so nice? Ignore that F word ... no laughing... and perhaps Chuck will forget it in time. It sure can be embarrassing when you have the wrong company... like children or parents. lol

He is beautiful! He does look very relaxed and nicely fluffed. I think he must have been well cared for if he is so comfortable right off the bat. Just a word of caution: there's a little thing called a honeymoon period that people with rehomed birds don't always get. Don't be surprised if Chuck starts getting a bit more demanding and assertive as time goes by. Nothing to worry about. Enjoy the sweetness for however long it lasts!

Welcome to Chuck! It seems like, in typical Quaker parrot style, he's already assumed his place as Head of the Household. And he's made a good start at training you too. You can try teaching Chuck a substitute phrase for the ones you'd rather he didn't say-- that's often suggested in parrot books, and sometimes it actually works. "Love you" is a suggested substitute for one of the phrases Chuck uses now. It's worked for a Forum member who got her QP to say "love you," at least most of the time.

Hi & welcome to you, Jacob & Chuck. Looks like Chuck's got you and us sucked in already with his cuteness (I particularly like the 2nd photo where he looks like butter wouldn't melt in his beak)!

Thank you everybody & thank you for adding Chuck to the banner Aaron, looks awesome I am so, so happy that Chuck seem's to be pretty relaxed and chilled. Was really worried about he would react to the move and new environment. He continues to be chatty and now says "Chuck want some". Last night he said he said "going to bed" He is such a character !! I saw that Quakers LOVE red pepper seeds. On my break today I got him some, they will be his dinner tomorrow, will see how well that goes down.

My pleasure! Very glad to hear that Chuck is doing so well! Cupcake loves pepper seeds, although she mostly loves to pick them off of the inside of the pepper. She'll do that obsessively until ever pepper seed is gone.
