To give a very small idea, Pico's care cost us about $700. Peppy's care has to be in the $1,000s. I can't imagine.

You and Peppy are still getting TONS of prayers from my flock.

Kaitlyn is getting the running lights on her trailer fixed, so hasn't started her road trip yet. We're all having a slumber party at my friend Kelli's house, where the horses are boarded.

Okay, so she had her teeth floated, and they were bad. She'll need them done again in 4-6 months. Her mouth was bleeding from the sharp points on the left side, those were taken care of. She has two back teeth that are taller than the others, and they will need to be filed again. Dr. Kelley didn't want to do too much at once. Her heart sounds good, but she was wiggly so they couldn't get a good listen to her lungs. When she stood still for a second, they thought they heard some rattling in her lungs. She had her Tetanus shot, but that was all. Her eyes are infected, but no ulcers. I have some ointment to use for a week, 2-3 times daily. She should be okay on the trip down to Oregon, Dr. Kelley suggested a couple stops to check on her in between.
