I read that today. It helped explain why Jade has never once challenged Clyde for Top Bird status. She accepted his position as Chief Bird in Charge from day one. She bullies everybody else except Clyde and while she allows Benjy liberties no one else has, probably because he's Clyde's little acolyte, she will boot his little budgie butt off her cage and pull his tail if he gets annoying. She never, ever challenges Clyde's authority.

Let me dream Biteybird. I have a parrot, dog and pony that think they are top of the pecking order. Only the cockatiels are easy to get along with.

Hmmmm pecking order eh? I thought this was the way humans acted... Only the weak get picked on over and over again. Maybe I should let my husband win more .... then Oscar will leave him alone. ha ha
