Spike got a glowing report from the vet today. Apart from lack of Vitamin D, she is in perfect health. She and Pippin have spent a bit of time in the sun today so neither of them should get sick (again). They love it so am going to put in a bath in their outside cage so they can splash around if they feel the need.

What do you use for an outside cage? Are you able to use it in the summer there?

I have a selection of cages that I use - they aren't terribly big. The bigger cage has been set up for when Shah comes home and I want to put him in the sun. It will stay outside permanently. When I move, I am thinking of getting a small outside aviary for the cockatiels so they can spend days in it (in summer) but still bring them inside at night.
