But I have to put in a pitch for one of my all-time favorite movies - Kenny. It's Australian and I don't think it got much play here. The description does not do it justice. Anyone else seen it? 'Kenny' is kind of seen as a recent classic here. If you like funny Australian movies you might consider 'Crackerjack' (it's about lawn bowls). If you want to see really bad acting, cringeworthy women but really cool motorbike scenes there is always 'Stone' - this was a cult 1970's movie that featured Kawasaki Z900 motorcycles, all custom painted etc. Also, there is 'Hercules Returns'. This was an 80s movie (I think) that has the type of humour that would probably appeal to Monty Python fans - be ready for some explicit language and interesting anatomical terminology. One of the main actors is Bruce Spence (the tall lanky gyrocoptor guy in the 'Mad Max' movies) and it's about some friends who hire out the Palais Theatre to show a movie reel and make some money. But when the movie (Hercules Returns) arrives, they discover it's in Italian and they decide to overdub it live whilst showing it to the audience.
I'm a bit like Jan, I don't actively seek out Aussie movies (I feel they often overdo the Ocker accent and the Australian stereotypical behaviour), but if you don't pay to see them they are worth it for a laugh!

I sorta thought she got what she deserved too, although towards the end of her "walk" I did feel a little sorry for her. I have a feeling she will get even though, she always does!

Yep, HBO GO has every episode of every series that HBO has ever run, from what I can tell, so if I do find it in my schedule to watch GoT from the beginning, I have the means. It is tempting, but right now my stepdaughter is having trouble sleeping at night, and thus we have stopped turning the TV on after she goes to bed because we live in an apartment and the TV is basically right up against her bedroom wall. So, right now my TV watching time on a given day is basically zero. I turn on Cupcake's nature Blu-ray when we leave but otherwise the thing stays off. ...so I'm thinking about putting a TV in our bedroom.

Oh Aaron, Cupcake has got you where she wants you - the complete slave She must be very proud of the work she has done with you. Having said that, when I move next year and the birds get their own room, I will be giving them my current TV where I can play all their Blu-rays and DVDs which have been collected over the years. Plus I am getting a lounge so I can sit in there and watch the TV with them.

I think Cupcake is proud of her efforts but has more plans in store for me. So we will see how it progresses. She is satisfied but ambitious in her slave driving I like that idea of a TV in the bird room with a lounge for the human visitor.
