Well, I can now say that my dog sprained my wrist. Bilbo wwaas barking and I thought I heard Zach yelling for me to open the door. So I went to the door and reached to grab Bilbo's harness. He either jumped or twisted and my wrist snapped. I heard it snap. Of course, Zach wasn't even there. I can move my wrist, so it's not broken, but it is swollen. I iced it and am wearing my brace now. Grrrr....

Maybe you should go to the doctor just to make sure that there is nothing fractured or broken. You poor thing - you're not having a good time at the moment, are you?

My wrist isn't sprained! It feels much better today, and isn't swollen anymore!

I actually winced when I read your post. Just get it X-Rayed in case. I only say that because some years ago I rolled my ankle, heard a crunch, got an X-Ray and....they said "there's an OLD break here from years ago" - the first I'd heard about it! I rolled the same ankle last week, heard & felt a crunch and got it X-Rayed again just to be sure (just ligament damage this time).

Back to normal! I was careful with it yesterday, just to be safe. All is well, so today I'm working on a set of horse reins I'm making for a good friend. I'll post pics in a new thread. quakerparrotforum.com/thread/734/new-hobby
