This morning when I was trying to get ready for work and thus had to be out of Rocky's sight, he was shrieking and I called to him, "Use your WORDS, Rocky!" and then realized I sounded like a kindergarten teacher. LOL
My sister-in-law, a retired kindergarten teacher, would add "and say them in your indoor voice."
