Normally sweet, funny and mischievous, yesterday Skye had a bout of temper.
He was just sitting in his doorway and suddenly yelled "Damnit!! Damnit!" Yes, it was funny. I asked him what was wrong and he laughed.

They do seem to like the more excited utterances. You can coo at them all day and they'll just shrug, but come out with one curse and they've got it down.

Naughty little chickens. So far we've managed to prevent Bonnie hearing really bad swearing, but I'm actually surprised she hasn't learnt our common utterances like "you're a silly bird" or "no, you're NOT a good girl, you're a pain in the ass!".

Gentleman that he is, Ralph has never said any bad words, except in Quaker, and only when strongly provoked, as by something orange. George the YCA didn't swear, but he did learn to say "What a slob!" because I said that to him so many times.

Hahaha that is hilarious. Would be so hard not to laugh at a cursing little green chicken.
