Oh, Ralph, we are worried about you!
I’m so sorry Ralph had such a rotten day.
We are thinking of you both.

Ralph made it through the night and today was a duplicate of yesterday, except that Ralph ate a little better. We actually played the same two games today at approximately the same time and in the same way, rather subdued play. Through the day, we mostly sat on the couch with Ralph snuggled against me and getting head scratches. After dinner tonight we changed it up and he sat on his shelf in the cupboard and got head scratches. Both were a little hard on my back but I'm trying to accommodate Ralph's wishes as much as I can.

We prayed to the Bird Goddess for Ralph. I’m glad he’s a bit better.

Oh Ralph, please get better, sweet silly boy! I'm so sorry, Gary. I know how stressful this is. Sending big hugs to you and scritches to Ralph.

Ralph and I thank everyone for your good wishes.
Not much difference from yesterday. Ralph didn't eat quite as much today and didn't feel like playing. We did play one tapping game. I did all the tapping and Ralph nodded his head. Just as we've been doing the last few days, we mostly sat on the couch and Ralph snuggled against me and got head scratches. I'm continuing to try to keep him as happy and comfortable as possible, and if he prefers eating nuts to his former favorite peas, that's what he's going to get. For now, I'm more focused on getting him to eat something than on the nutritional value of what he eats.

Does Ralph like to be handfed, but by bit or fed with a spoon? When my birds aren’t feeling well that’s what I do.
Hang in there, Ralph!

Ralph didn't make it. He passed away at 12:43 this afternoon, October 9. My heart is broken.

Oh no! I'm so, so, so sorry for your loss. If there's anything I can do, please let me know.
I want to thank you VERY much for all of your work here, keeping the Forum running smoothly. I'm all good with whatever you want to do, if you want to keep on, or go, or take a break.
I'm so very sorry. 🤗

Thank you both. Your support over the last few weeks has been helpful.
Dani, I do want to stay on the Forum, even though I don't have a parrot now, and may not again. I want to see the Forum keep going, and maybe I can offer some advice or encouragement to the members. I might need to step away for a little while, but probably not for long, and I might not be here every day, but I will still be around.
