Ralph molts year-round, slowly and gradually, but when spring weather settles in, his molt usually steps up. This year he's getting an early start. Lately he's been losing more feathers the way he normally does in April and May. The tail feathers have been going fast this week -- four of them so far, along with a few other feathers from here and there. Parrots don't all molt in the same way or at the same time of year, but I'm wondering if any other parrots are molting like Ralph is. If so, is it earlier than usual or the same time as always? We've had an unusually mild winter so far and maybe that's encouraging an earlier molt.

I would say Casey is a year round moulter too. I dont think it’s started faster yet this spring

This sounds familiar, as I think Bonnie is molting more as well. She has been losing several tail feathers in the last few weeks. But as we're in a hot, humid climate nearly all year, it seems to happen on an ongoing basis to some extent anyway.

Casey still has his tail feathers but here is a picture of his pins on his head. He let me help him with a few after I took the picture

Lots of pinfeathers there. I imagine that Casey would appreciate some help with them. Ralph's molt has mostly been concentrated on his tail, wings and breast so not too many pinfeathers on his head just now.

And a bath or baths could help with the pinfeathers, too. Willow loves his Swan pet fountain and insists on a half hour of cuddling and scritches every day.

Yes Casey has a shower with me most days , hanging out on the door for the steam and on my arm in the spray for a time too. He will say tickle tickle when he wants me to do his feathers.
