I haven't been around much lately guys because things have been so incredibly busy leading up to my wedding this past Saturday!! It was a small and simple affair, about 15 people, mostly family, and it went perfectly. Couldn't be happier! Everyone had a great time.

I thought you'd been making yourself scarce lately. That's a pretty good reason! (A little disappointed to not receive my invitation. ) Congratulations!

Thanks guys!! Haha I think "why wasn't I invited" is the most common reponse I am getting (after congratulations, of course ) when I tell people... We kept it really small so there were a lot of people, including a bunch of my extended family, that wish they could have been there... but we really needed to keep this small for our own sanity. If it weren't for my step-daughter I am certain we would have eloped in some tropical location instead of doing this... but it really was fantastic!

Congratulations. Weddings can get so out of hand so it was good that you had something small and your sanity was maintained.

Congrats, Aaron & 'new wife' (for lack of a better term)! We were the same, only about 15 people attended. We were married by a civil celebrant in the gardens of a nice motel in Tasmania, then just strolled down to the park for photos and had a great meal in the restaurant afterwards with our few guests. Perfect!

Thanks!! We got married in a little art theatre that has a space on the ground floor of our apartment building... Had a little reception there after the ceremony, and then everyone walked to dinner at the restaurant right down the street which is an upscale pizzeria, so it was low key. Then we all stayed at a small but nice hotel nearby and hung out there for several hours. Brunch in the morning. It was great.

Thanks Julianna! Wow! We've been together for 7 years, so longer than your average couple that is just getting married. And I should be congratulating you on your 40 years of marriage!!
