So you need to post a thread every night then, to ensure that she goes to bed properly. Somehow I think she's going to figure out a way to circumvent that plan too!

Oscar goes to bed only after I leave the room and go to my bedroom. Hubby usually sits up later so Oscar will sit there and be quiet until the lights are dimmed enough that he is knows..... black time is coming.
I start dimming the lights after dinner .... around 7:00 p.m. and then I crawl into bed to watch tv there. Funny cause I only do this because I am tired of Oscar demanding my attention.... after a whole day it can become exhausting.
Hubby will stay up and Oscar will eat seeds for a good half hour... then he will sit quiet until the lights get darker.... then in he crawls and all is well.
Morning time... as soon as I walk past his cage you can hear him fluff up... still dark in the house... I put the coffee on and by the time I get back to the living room to turn on the TV he is crawling out of his cage... with the little beeps.... "come get me"... lol... I love the mornings.

Morning time....Mr P listens for the flush of the toilet coming from bedroom and HE IS UP AND AT IT! He will give me about 10 mins to come into the area of the house where he sleeps and uncover him and take him out. If it takes me longer than 10 mins, I most certainly HEAR about it
On the weekends, I have been known to just not flush my toilet if I dont want to get up at the normal 7:30am time (you know, sleep in).

LOL...I 'play possum' in the mornings. As soon as Bonnie hears the slightest noise from the bedroom/hallway/bathroom she's off and away (noise-wise).

When Maggie hears me making coffee, she starts woo-wooing in her cage in the birds' room and then Freddie starts whistling and saying "pretty baby" but Clyde never emerges until I turn on the light and take off his cage cover. He's not a morning person.
