Well done, Peppy! Sounds like Jan's advice re the vet visit was very useful (I'll have to remember that if Bonnie ever goes to the vet - she hasn't needed to yet). Siobhan, how dare you upset Clyde like that, especially when you KNOW the rules.

Easstex, what a lovely outcome. Good for you and Peppy. Siobhan, don't you EVER learn? Poor Clyde must be exhausted trying to train you.

LOL. He might not prefer "hideous," but once he's thoroughly entrenched, he will probably dictate what colors and materials you can wear, and which accessories are acceptable and which are not. I am not allowed to wear a watch, for example, and only one particular pair of glasses, which means my new glasses live in their case, unloved and unworn. Clyde wouldn't mind earrings, but he would insist on yanking on them, so I don't wear those anymore, and my starling tries to choke me with necklaces, so I don't wear THOSE anymore. Being bossed by 3-oz. feathered masters is a full time job.

Just think what a job it must be to boss you, with his measly 3oz.

Perhaps you will be lucky and Peppy will choose to let you make some of your own decisions. If he does, you'll tell me what that's like, won't you?

My day-to-day life is a constant agony of indecision, thanks to Bonnie....

This morning, I put on a new pair of boots that just arrived in the mail yesterday and I modeled them for Ringo, who is usually less judgmental than His Royal Quakerness, and I said, "Do you like Mommy's new boots?" She said "IKE!" (which is usually indicative of annoyance) "You DON'T like them?" and she whistled Johnny's made-up tune and then said "I wuh oooo!" I'm not sure how to take that.
