So the question I have is my bird deliberately aiming through the bars to poop on me. He will move up the perch to the bars reach up with one leg to angle his vent at the side of the cage and poop. He only seems to do it when I come up to interact with him. I get that he doesn't know me from a bar of soap but that seems a little more than being stand offish.

It may be your parrot's misguided way of greeting you, but more likely it's just accidental, because of where he's perched and where you're standing.

I would like to believe that except he deliberately comes closer and grabs the bars of the cage. Last time he tried I moved and he let go of the bars and moved. Pretty sure he is targeting me on purpose. Maybe he just has a quirky sense of humour?

Lol. I can’t say I’ve ever heard of sharing poop Casey will poop on command when he is out of the cage. I put a paper under him and say go poop and he does. He learned this behaviour since we said good poop when we saw him poop. Maybe you can work with it and he will also learn to poop when you want when away from the cage.

Bonnie doesn't do this poop thing, but she does other things that she knows we don't approve of, then does a maniacal laugh afterwards. if it weren't for the laugh I'd say it was random, but i suspect it's entirely intentional...
