How old should a baby Quaker be before i bring it home. The breeder i am getting my baby from says 6 weeks but again im reading contradicting information. Some sources say 8 to ten weeks and others say 5 to 6. I can't be feeding formula via syringe through out the day so it needs to be completely weaned. Are they usually fully weaned at 6 weeks?

As I recall, six to ten weeks is the usual age range for a baby parrot to be fully weaned, but it can vary with individual parrots. I've never had a parrot as young as that and have no personal experience to draw from.
