I got Widget about eight weeks ago. I got him on good quality pellets. I have been offering him all kinds of fruits and vegetables and I am concerned he is not getting proper nutrition.
Other than his regular food I have offered grapes, green beans, peas, corn, carrots, spinach, etc. He only eats the grapes and those he sucks the juice out of. I believe I am doing it correctly because I was told to offer him things every day even if he doesn't eat them.
Any advice as to what else to do with this VERY picky eater?

While it isn't necessary to offer the same foods every day, you do have to be persistent and keep offering them; maybe every few days would do. It can help to prepare the foods in different ways. Most vegetables can be offered both raw and cooked (except most types of beans which need to be cooked). You can try offering larger pieces or chop or mash them. It can help to eat some of the same foods while your parrot watches and demonstrate how good they are. Parrots usually want to share foods that their human friends are obviously enjoying.
