Nudging?

Hey graciesmom! I haven't been on in a while either..going thru some trying times with my chemo regimen..sleeping a lot.
Nudging,in buddy's world,means he would like to cuddle and exchange preens,head scratches ect..so yeah he's being a little demanding of attention,but in a nice way.
Head bobbing,especially when making crabby noises means he wants to be noticed..another way of wanting attention.
He also does this while looking out the window and the wild birds that come to the feeders..some of this can be hormonal behavior as well,but for the most part..it's just them saying let's do something. There are times when I offer him a treat and he will grab it and immediately drop it..it's just their way of showing affection and being demanding.

Thanks graciesmom and happy new year to you too ! Yes it's the pin feathers on the head that they need help with. Now you'll know when your little one wants to snuggle up to you,usually later in the afternoon, evening here, it's a good head scratching.
Just thinking tho..since they are hard to crack if misting her little head 1st might make the job easier. . This is usually my girlfriend laura s job,but he's been fond of me doing it lately for some reason. Buddy holds the other side of his face with his claw while getting scratches then turns his head sideways..so I'm able to pinch his cheeks!
