Benjy has been sleeping in Clyde's cage (door open) for months. A couple of times, including this morning, I've found Benjy NOT in the cage when I go in to open curtains and turn on lights. Benjy was sitting on the floor in front of the TV pouting and decidedly put out when I went in this morning and he refused to speak to me OR to Clyde. I assume Clyde tossed him out overnight sometime. His cage is wide open, too, and he could sleep in it, or in Freddie's cage (Freddie sleeps on the curtain rod) if Clyde's being a bratty big brother, but apparently he prefers pouting on the floor. Of course, he's a budgie, so by the time I got the fish fed and made sure the baby guppies were getting enough food (they're scrappy and fought the big guppies and won, LOL) and the birds' Christmas tree plugged in, Benjy was buzzing my head and wanting his morning kiss.

My big brother used to give me a rough time now and then when we were growing up, but we learned to get along well over the years. Maybe it will work out like that for Clyde and Benjy.  Nice that the brids have their own Christmas tree. Ralph, Scooter and I have to share the one in the living room-- but they probably think it's theirs. |

Clyde and Benjy are usually best buds and do everything together so Clyde was just having a bratty spell, I think. He was on his own little perch in Clyde's cage this morning when I came in. And Gary, of course the birds have their own tree. LOL Rocky has to share the ones (three, one regular, one tiny and one fiber optic) in the living room with us, but the birds' room has a white one dressed like a snowman. Heck, even the guppies have a tree in their tank. No, I'm not kidding. I saw it at the store the other day and couldn't resist. And Ringo has a Boyd's Christmas angel bear in her room.

I have photos of the tiny ceramic tree in the guppy tank and my frog Kermit sitting in front of it checking it out, but I don't know how to post photos on the forum. Dani always has to do it for me. LOL I also have a photo of the snowman tree with Freddie sitting next to it. He's the only one brave enough to get that close to it. And one of Rocky admiring the living room tree. They also have a box full of Christmas presents. Gotta include my babies in the festivities, you know.
