Last night I was sitting on a footstool in front of one of my fish tanks having a chat with my dwarf frog (just got him, so we have to get to know one another) with Clyde on one shoulder and Benjy on my knee, when Jade flew over, landed on my shoulder very gently and silently, and just sat there. No chomps. No shrieking -- she usually shrieks when she flies. Clyde didn't know what to think. He lunged halfheartedly a couple of times, but I told him to knock it off and he mostly did. Jade sat there for several minutes, as if this was perfectly normal.
Sometimes she flies to my shoulder when I come in to turn the lights on in the morning, but just for a moment or two and almost always accompanied by her pulling my hair or giving me a chomp. On very, VERY rare occasions she has sat on my knee for a couple of minutes. I don't recall her ever coming over to just sit on my shoulder like that, quite calm and companionable, especially with Clyde on the other shoulder.

Congratulations to you and Jade. That is noteworthy, having her perch calmly on you and not chomping, and for Clyde to (more or less) tolerate sharing you with Jade.

I am not sure I want to know exactly what made her this way. I know a little and guess a little, but I don't really know details. She's lived with us for 10 years come January and has always been touch-me-not and chompy. We finally surrendered and decided to let her make the overtures if any are made, and just accept that this is the way things are. The difference from January 2009 and today is night and day, but she's still nothing like Clyde, who wants to sit on me constantly. Clyde would come to work with me if he could.
