Nice thread start birdie girl! All cute stuff here with lots of replies. Was beginning to think everyone was on vacation. The trick of the tail..I'm gonna have to try that one on buddy when he gets up in a Lil bit. I tried to get him to go upside down on his t stand with a treat, but he never went for it. I know he likes to view the world upside down cause he is a lot in his cage when playing,so this should work. Tried the thumb perch trick on him yesterday, but he flew off both times before I could turn him upside down.

I call it 'I'm going to tickle your tummy" but he calls it "Scratch Scratch". He throws himself on his back under my chin and presents his feet for a pretend fight to tickle his tummy. He insists on the Up Ladder over and over (sigh). He likes peeka boo but doesn't instigate it.

We have a yarn ball with a couple buttons for eyes and a smile and also one of those windup chicks ya get around easter..now I thought he would like and hang out with the chick, but he beaks it and fights it...I bring them out only on occasions where he is so demanding of attention that he needs a release hahah. dinucci, we also play a similar game with a small, squeaky rubber penguin. Birdy sits on my or my husbands shoulder and we play fighting games with the toy, squeaking it all around his head and behind him. He mutters, curses and grumble at it, and when he gets hold of it he bites it very hard, then throws it hard down on the floor and squawks triumphantly as if he's "killed" it. If Sometimes he stomps up and down on it and really gets aggressive. Then he's all sweetness and light on my shoulder afterwards, as if he's disposed of the enemy and we're all safe now haha.

He hates being on his back, he looks really scared. He is still very young so maybe one day. I can turn him upside down in my hand but he grips on to my finger for dear life poor chap.

I have a mini trampoline and have just started to do a bit of bouncing on it with Birdie on my shoulder. He squawks a lot but I'm not sure if he's scared or enjoying it?? He very quickly fluffs up afterwards so I guess he's not too traumatised . Hey, it can't hurt. If Birdie hates it he'll fly off your shoulder and go somewhere he wants. I say go experiment with your ideas and he will "tell you" (AKA bite you!) if he doesn't like it. Well done! Thanks biteybird, I was a bit worried but so far he hasn't wanted to fly off. We just go for a short time at the moment, I don't want to bounce his little birdie brain around too much!

Pidge has just begun to be comfortable lying back in my hand. When I was on holidays the carer said he fell asleep in his hand. Sometimes when he is along time between baths I hold him under the tap . He seems to not mind.

At present, Rocky's favorite is "try to stick my head under Mommy's shirt" and I have to keep him from doing it. LOL

Yoshi likes to play this little game, where I wiggle my finger close to his tummy while he's perched, like I'm gonna tickle his belly, then he raises his right foot and grabs ahold of the end of my finger, and I have to wiggle it free from his grip. He finds it quite humorous for whatever reason!

Pidge has introduced a "joke" into the up ladder which he adores. Sometimes when he gets to 2nd or 3rd 'up" he jumps onto my chest squealing. Of course I am totally surprised and squeal as well so we both laugh our heads off. He is very good at going down the ladder but very occasionally he runs down my arm laughing all the way.

Rocky's latest game involves a metal Christmas cookie plate that he loves to bang against things and carry around in his beak and throw on the floor, where it makes a most satisfying BANG. It's surprisingly sturdy and no worse for wear in spite of his abuse of it.

Petrie loves Peekaboo. He also likes to chirp back when we call his name from another room.

The other thing Bonnie likes is being held and swung around in the air (accompanied by whooshing noises, which she joins in with, and me singing the Superman theme).

my bird is a green quaker parrot named pickle he love peek a boo and being swung in a pillowcase he also likes to dance to hip hop music his favorite song is the box Welcome to you and Pickle! Just be careful when he's in the pillowcase - OK if you're holding it, but if it's on a surface and he's moving, he won't be able to see the edge and if he falls off he will drop very quickly to the ground (can't fly inside a pillowcase!). Just something that caught me by surprise one day with our quaker, Bonnie...scared the hell outta me when she was inside a beanie and ran with her head inside it, over the edge of the bench. What a thud on the floor...luckily she was OK.
