I haven't tried millet spray with Trump yet. I'm sure she'll be scared of it, I had to break it up for Sonic too. We shall see.

My breeder recommended sprouted seeds. I need to find another brand as there was too many sunflower seeds in the last mix+. I'll go back to the breeder to buy my next lot.

Julianna..oscar and buddy must be related!buddy shows muted interest in millet spray..eats a little then throws it on the floor,keeping his sacred cagetop pan clean for his dreamboat mate to come.
One thing I found useful to occupy him is flax seeds. I grind them for my cereal..love em..but I'll give him a quarter tsp..he likes them too and will spend time eating them 1 at a time. What's fun is watching him separate the tiny shells and eating the inner seed..it amazes me because if ya think of it, he can't see what he's doing..just sense of feel..cheap stuff too! I know they contain good protein,but not sure of the fat content..anyone know off hand??
