I love the killdeer photo, Caseysmom! I now have flying squirrels in some of my bluebird boxes, and they are pretty darn cute. Though I still have bluebirds nesting is some other boxes, I think it has gotten so hot that I don't really need to evict the squirrels. I'll have to get a good photo of them.

Neat, we don't have flying squirrels here as far as I know, just the regular grey and black big ones and the little super fast and loud red squirrels Those little red squirrels took over my screech owl nest box... I wasn't too happy about that. It is broken now, I was thinking of trying another one next year I had two robin nests in the backyard... and the chickadees have shown up with babies at my feeder so I guess they were close by.
