I certainly hope so. My friend said he tried to make sure one was female and one male, but it's kind of hard to be sure, so we'll just have to wait and see. If they're anything like the rams, it won't take long to know. LOL If they don't, that's okay, too. It's not like I don't have plenty of ramshorns. But I do love watching the big ones, whose nickname has become "the giants." They absolutely dwarf the rams. And ooze right over the tops of them if they're in the path. And both of them sleep in the pineapple hut. When I turn on the tank light in the morning, they come out and go back to oozing around, but both of them shut themselves up in their shells and sleep in there together.

Haha, I find that sleeping routine very cute. Eager to hear if they end up reproducing! Things are going pretty well in my fish world. The big cichlid and his pleco tankmate are totally able to coexist now without the big guy being aggressive... I think because he was giving the cichlid a solid whack in the face whenever he came too close... So now the cichlid seems to know better. Algae is still a problem but more under control. Cichlid seems happier and healthier than he's ever been, at least since he got so big. So, fairly pleased

We have two snail egg blobs in the tank, one on the underside of the lid, the other up above the waterline in the opposite corner. According to my aquarium-keeping friend who gave the snails to me, that means they're both girls, because a female only lays one blob of eggs per go-round. He offered to try again to give me a boy, and I said that I would assume some of the eggs will hatch boy snails, so we should be well-supplied. Both blobs are huge and I should think would hatch out a LOT of snail babies. I don't expect them all to survive, based on my research, but enough will. Now I have to try to remove the rams from the tank to make room for the mysteries when they arrive (probably in a couple of weeks). I did not expect them to provide me with babies quite so soon and I wasn't ready. LOL
I'm glad yours have come to a peace treaty and Big Guy is doing well. Plecos seem to be quite non-combative until you back them into a corner and then they will definitely defend themselves. The guppies give Darty Fish a wide berth.

One is about an inch tall and a half inch wide and the other is roughly twice as tall and about the same width. Yeah, I expect a large number of babies. LOL We're gonna need a bigger boat.
