It turns out Ollie's bump is fatty tissue so we need to covert his diet to Harrison's or other healthy pellets with lots of fruit and veggies, I'm thinking about getting milk thistle too. Any pellet recommendations?

I need pellets without nuts or peanuts due to my allergies so Harrison's is out of question till they email me back about another type for him.

I've heard Roudybush is another good option for pellets. I couldn't get Yoshi to eat them, but Roudybush sent me two very generous sample bags of their product when I contacted them, for free. You may wish to try the same. www.roudybush.com/I do not know if they contain nuts, however.

I contacted them for samples but they said they don't send them to Canada. But I found where I can buy them so I'll go get some.

You might also try Higgins InTune. Re: milk thistle, does he have liver problems, or are you just trying to head them off?

His beak was overgrown when we got him and he had watery poop that often had yellow or green around it but the vet at the shelter said he would be ok.
