I tried to fix a toy that had come unknotted and got bit pretty hard this afternoon. He actually made me bleed!
I try to remember that I can’t touch his seagrass mat or top perch but I forget or think “but I’ll just fix this.” Willow is never impressed. I do need to clean his cage and I think I’ll have to strand him on his “tree” and clean it quickly.
Oh boy, he’s gonna be mad!

She always makes me pay, with either noise or nips (or both)! I think it’s pretty funny how similar the quakers’ personalities are, even when they’re in different parts of the world! Hope your finger heals OK!

Ralph doesn't mind what I touch inside his cage with one big exception-- his food dish. He doesn't like it when I take it out or put it back in and I've received a few finger chomps when changing out his food. Ralph doesn't believe in the old saying "don't bite the hand that feeds you." Usually when I clean or rearrange his cage Ralph sits on top of it and supervises and never comments on what I'm doing.
