We are about to go visit my parents for a week. They are in the middle of redoing their floors (replacing carpet with bamboo flooring). The room we are staying in tonight is being finished today and the floorers are using Taylor 2071 Tuff-Lok X-Link wood flooring adhesive. My mom is going to open the window in the room, close the door and turn on the fan to air it out before we get there.
Can someone please let me know if this will be harmful to my two Quakers (16 weeks old and 8 years old)?
Thanks in advance!

It's hard to know for sure, but I take a conservative approach to these things. If you can smell it, I wouldn't leave my birds in there. Their lungs function differently from ours, and things that we can clear pretty quickly will remain longer in their systems. I think the flooring industry is getting greener and the adhesives don't have the level of harmful VOCs that they used to, but I would rather be safe than sorry.

Thank you. The adhesive is low VOC but we didn't want to chance it so the birds are at my dad's office safe and sound!
