I'm not sure that option is offered, unfortunately. I agree that would be much better, and I know we'd all feel better about paying for it. I'm pretty sure you're right that the vast majority of traffic is guests.

Unfortunately the only option is to do what Aaron suggested. :-(

...which is pretty irritating. I understand that this is how ProBoards makes their money, but sheesh... I'd also like individuals to be able to pay for their own ad-free experience and not have to fund the whole site. Arguably they could probably make more money that way, AND lose less ad revenue... but oh well.

It's really irritating.
I like ProBoards, and don't want to switch platforms... what a pain for Shelly.... I just don't know what to do about the ads here. I have an ad blocker on my PC and laptop, and so far haven't had trouble with my phone.
Frustrating. I'm sorry I don't have a solution, guys.

Switching platforms is such a nightmare from the standpoint of getting the forum activity up and moving since all of the threads disappear. I'd be very hesitant to migrate at this point, despite the gripes with ProBoards.

You know... those ads are here because apparently they make money doing this. They should be paying us for coming here and attracting all the attention that we do. I just think it is a crying shame that we have to pay them to stop messing with our computers.

Well, if you don't have an ad blocker... that should be a way to avoid the ads that doesn't cost money. Shouldn't be too hard to set up.
But I agree, their business model is a frustrating one.
