In the top photo Skye is at the front and Loki is closest to my face. In bottom photo Loki is the smaller looking Parrot, so he's on the left and Skye is on the right.

They are both gorgeous. How are you going with the sound? I knew someone that had 3 quakers - she put them in a room at the front of the house and they let her know if there was anyone in the vicinity of the front door. They also had a long ladder which led from their cage to the floor as they had the run of the whole townhouse. But I have to tell you, the noise was deafening and one of the little blighters would run across the kitchen floor and bite me on the foot

Thanks Jan and Caseysmom. Actually Jan the noise isn't too loud.. Well we are at work all day but Joel gets home from school about an hour or 2 before we get home from work and he says it's not too bad. On the weekends it can get noisy at times because they know we are home but I don't let them out for the whole day. It's not unbearable though. Skye is just likely to fly over to you and just as he lands on your shoulder he does a wolf whistle. Loki's the quiet one for the most part. He certainly wouldn't be running over and biting feet! More like to run away and hide lol!

Very cute couple of parrots! Is it just the picture, or is Loki considerably smaller than Skye?

Thanks Zim! Loki is smaller, but not that much. I think it's the way I took the picture plus Loki is a little hunched up. It's only a phone picture so not very good quality. The first photo a friend took with her camera and emailed them to me so much much better quality!

They are nice photos! I suppose if you let Loki's flight feathers grow back you might have difficulty telling them apart (if he puts on some weight & they end up being roughly the same size).

Thanks Biteybird! Yes might be difficult at times. I do notice Loki's eyes are slightly bigger than Skye's. Plus at some stage during Loki lost a claw/nail (you can't see it in this picture as it's at the back). Sorry not sure of the correct terminology So at the right angle, I'd be able to pick them apart hahaha!
