Easttex, I won't have internet access for a few days from tomorrow morning; but am wishing you all the best for Monday and as always we are rooting for Peppy (and you).

Easttex, I think you've made the right decision. I was talking with my wife about what we would do and we came to a similiar conclusion. We'll be thinking of you both this weekend and on Monday... If there's any little parrot that can make it through this, it's Peppy. He's such a little fighter. *hugs* for both of you!

Just wanted to wish you luck today, Easttex. I've no idea which time zone you live in, or whether the operation has already happened, but we are all thinking of both you and Peppy and wishing/hoping/praying for the best outcome for you both; that Peppy's illness is treatable and he still has a long time with you yet. All our love and thoughts,
Maya and Becci xxxx

Easttex, this is very late, but I need to say it. Your decision to go through with the biopsy is exactly what Zach and I would have done for Pico, if we had that choice. Watching him deteriorate, even though we were medicating him, was the worst thing for me. I hope this gives you some comfort. I'm so sorry for your loss, and believe me, it's a loss that we all feel. Much love and many hugs to you. Please stay with us on the forum. Dani

Please stay with us on the forum. I'm kind of struggling with this right now. It's not that I feel in any way unwelcome to stay. I feel bonds of friendship here and I like reading about everyone's birds, and all the other things that come up. But I'm an outsider now, because I don't share the one thing that we all had in common. Separation is probably almost inevitable, but I plan to stay for a while, at least. Thanks, Dani.

Well, you don't have a living Quaker parrot in your home any more, so we no longer have that in common. True. But you still have a parrot, which still makes us all part of a fairly elite group of parrot owners, and you're still very knowledgeable about Quakers and have personal experience, so we have that in common too! That aside, I totally can see where you're coming from. It would certainly be ideal to have you stay on as a regular here. I know that's what we all want, and I hope at the very least you'll stop by from time to time, but I can understand feeling conflicted about visiting the forum under the circumstances. Please do whatever makes you feel comfortable, and know you're always welcome here!!

I know if you go... I am going to miss your posts so very much Easttex. Like Aaron said... you are very knowledgeable about Quakers... and have helped me tremendously throughout the times.
I truly hope you will always feel welcome... and leave us a little tip or two.

You had better not leave this forum Easttex. Apart from the fact that you have a lot of knowledge, you still need us to help you through your grief. So, in the end, we need you and you need us Plus I would be really sad if you left.

You're an important part of the Forum family, and, as you can see, everyone hopes that you'll stay around, or at least check in now and then. You'll always have a QP in your heart, though there may not be one in your home at present-- and you do have a lot to share with the Forum community.
