This makes perfect sense to me and here's why. Plants and animals alike will abort, for lack of a better term, production. In drought times, plants will forgo production in favor of survival since they can't uptake nutrients. Animals like coyotes for example, produce the number of pups contingent on food supply and may forgo all together under dire circumstances. Pheasants seem to know how much rain we will get as to how high or low they nest and will lay eggs accordingly. I'm in a position now that I'm going to reduce the protien amount in buddy's diet which hopefully will reduce his hormone levels along with other measures. He loves pasta so if he's like me,he'll want to go to bed earlier too ! Just no vino !
