Chewy and my relationship has been progressing a bit as of late, so I let the birds out and asked Chewy to step up from his cage door, just to see what would happen....

I must take a photo of hubby's wounds sometime...usually an imprint of an open beak (seeping blood), then it scabs for a few days.

I don't know if this will help at all, but the bite of an African grey is much, much worse than a Quaker's. And I have the scar to prove it.
