Cabu isn't my first parrot but he/she is my first Quaker. He's the only parrot I've ever had that insists on climbing up to my shoulder. The towel really helps. He's just 9 weeks old and has started weaning. He's trying to say step up, good bird and night night.
How old is Pico?
Chewing earrings just goes with the territory....they're parrots, and earrings are shiny toys put there just for them to play with! LOL Pico has lost his shoulder privileges for awhile, last night he did not want to step up, and chomped my finger, hard. He'll learn, eventually. He's still a baby.

Okay .... After a ton of searching I realize now Cabu is preening me. I'm going to tie up my hair and I've removed my earrings. I hope that all helps. I guess he thinks his mom looks a mess.
