I haven't gotten it but I'm usually on the mobile site anyways where there isn't normally any ads or pop ups.

no survey pop ups here, I have seen ads if I go on from the computer, but I avoid them. Hope you caught it in time.

Since it just seems to be you are you only getting pop ups like that on this forum? I don't necessarily mean just surveys but also advertisements and other pop ups. If you are then you may have a program that resembles a virus and roots itself deep into your computers system. These programs can get into a computer when you install a program or file. I had this issue before on my laptop. It started out with just a few ads and it seemed like nothing then over time ads, surveys, and fake pop ups that say you need to install or update something became more frequent until they were everywhere. They are a pain to remove but can be and are infact harmless to your computer but they resemble a virus and will appear as one to a virus protection software.

I had a little box about taking a survey pop up a couple weeks ago while I was signing into the Forum. I just closed the box and that was that. I've had similar boxes appear on other websites that refused to close, or would redirect me to an unwanted page when I tried to close them-- but haven't yet had any virus warnings. It's usually best not to click on one of those surveys (on purpose) unless you're sure of what it's all about.

Thanks Aaron but as it is my work computer (part of a network) I would assume that it has been taken care of as I haven't had a repeat of it since - thank goodness.

now I am getting the pop up and it is driving me crazy. It interferes with my typing grrrrrrrr
