And I can't help but notice that fantastic "beware of the chickens" doormat . That's great! I noticed that myself and was going to say something. Love it! Labs are challenging but great...challenging because they have SO MUCH ENERGY. If you have a pool at your house or are nearby a lake, ocean, whatever, and Bonnie can go swimming daily, that will do a lot for her energy level! One thing about labs, if you don't provide them with an outlet to release their energy, they *will* find one

Bonnie and Wanda are great outlets for each other. They're both young and incredibly energetic, and they love to run full speed and play wrestle. They are well matched, though Bonnie could dominate Wanda if she wanted to. Still, Bonnie is into everything. She has learned enough to stay off the kitchen counters when we're around, but I constantly find little tell-tale brown hairs on them. And my slippers are never safe off my feet. She doesn't destroy them; they're just drenched with slobber by the I get them. But she is sweet and pretty, and as we all know, pretty girls can get away with a lot.

She WILL settle down, I promise, and be the most affectionate and eager to please doggie you've ever had. Labs just remain puppies for a long time. LOL That kind of energy and mischief in a little puppy is cute and easily managed. In a 75 pound dog, not so much.
