Posting a couple photos of the new Cockatiel for rickygonzalez . This little one has yet to be named, but may end up being called "Cookie". A very sweet looking and beautiful little friend!

She's gorgeous! (I'm saying 'she' even though Ricky isn't sure of what gender). Yes, she does look like a 'pearl' patterned cockatiel...and no orange cheek patches at all. I love the amount of white in her feathers. Thanks for posting these photos, Aaron and thanks Ricky for passing them on so we can see her!

He/she is a beautiful bird. I've not seen that pattern on a cockatiel before, I just see them at the pet store in the usual yellow and grey color. The pattern on the wings is similar to what would be called stencil in pigeons.

I want to thank Aaron for posting these pictures for me. From all the research I have done, she/he is a cinnamon white faced pearl pied. I had never seen one like this in person. I think she's pretty nice. if you guys have any other ideas for names i'd love to hear them.

Really beautiful. I like the name Cookie... but when I first saw her I thought.... Snow Ball. Cause she is white a fluffy and a ball of gorgeous.

S/he really is beautiful (you're right about the mutation), and I also love the name Cookie! Congratulations! Edit: I was trying to think what kind of cookie she reminds me of....a Russian Tea Cookie! One of my favorites!

She is a beauty. Cookie's a good name. If she does turn out to be female, I also like Pearl. Short, not likely to be confused with a common word, and a precious thing.
