Well I laughed the other day at Oscar. He was in his condo (the bathroom drawer with the face cloths in it) and he was doing his usual screaming. I always go to see what is up and that day he was acting strange. He was at the back of the drawer and was sort or dancing or flipping around on top of the face cloths. He didn't look hurt or anything so I talked to him and put my hand under his belly. That is when I realized he had gotten his tail feathers stuck in the drawer where the rollers meet the metal rack they slide on.
Of course I didn't laugh right then... but I took hold of his tail at the end and gently pulled his feather at the same time opening the drawer and out he popped. No damage to his tail... he was a little upset but wanted to stay there so I knew he was okay.
Then I laughed my head off.... thinking back to his little chicken dance... flopping this way and that... lol lol lol

Aww haha, I bet that was ridiculously cute. A little sad for Oscar, but he's okay, so all's well, that ends well.

Julianna, that's a bit mean of you to laugh at him. I hope you left the room before you started laughing

I probably would have laughed straight away...
You know, maybe Oscar needs a remote-controlled false wall - kind of like a James Bond mini-bar - that emerges with his drawer of face cloths. Otherwise, why have a Condo? QPs don't do things by halves!

There might be a payback if Oscar knew you were laughing at him and not with him, Julianna. Speaking of laughing, we had company for dinner, and as I usually do, I bring the birds in to see our visitors more closely. While I had Peppy out, something got the four of us people laughing and Allie started her maniacal laughter in the other room. Then Peppy started in, and that got everyone laughing harder. It went on for a while. I've never seen him do that with company. So cute.

Hahaha... I love laughing feedback loops with these birds. That's got to be one of my favorite things about having a parrot in the house
