Thanks for the 'welcome backs' everyone! Jan, we did get some bad weather on the Thursday (last week), with LOTS of rain that day and a bit on and off the next. However...we were actually in a camper trailer which has waterproof canvas and a built-in hard-shell toilet & shower section, so I suppose we weren't camping exactly, more like 'glamping' (I have heard this term used to refer to 'camping with glamour'). When I feel less lazy I'll get off my butt and create a thread in the Photos section so you can see it. Bonnie has adjusted back to 'normal' life at home now, but both hubby and I go back to work on Wednesday, so I know she will be very unimpressed about being on her own. Aaron & Will, I wonder if your QPs have hormone confusion because of the weather? Aaron, I laughed about 'bedtime deception' strategy for Cupcake - it's amazing what new lows we're forced into in order to keep our QPs on their best behaviour. Of course, they've probably got it figured out anyway (like double-agents/spies).

I think Cupcake is primarily being weird because when we are home from work and school for days we tend to start going to bed later and getting up later... so she's had to wait a bit more to get up in the morning and she gets weird when that happens too much.
And I agree, I think she largely has it figured out. I'm sure she can hear my stepdaughter's voice after we put her to bed. Whether she is actually coming to the conclusion that we're decieving her or not, I'm not sure. I hope not. That would be kind of sad.
